Mayor Désirée Schmalschläger personally reached out to first-time voters in Leudal ahead of the March 18, 2026 municipal elections, encouraging young people to make their voices heard. She described the occasion as a beautiful milestone in their lives and emphasized the importance of the new generation’s participation in democracy. The municipality also distributed an informational election newspaper to help voters prepare.
